First Fridays at Santa Fe's Art District have become a Denver phenomena in recent years. The event is now expanded to 3rd Fridays as well. For the next month, you can see four of Janet Koelling's Fine Art Photography pieces at the CO ART GALLERY,
846 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, Co 80204. Come and enjoy the festivities!

Here is a sample of one of the pieces, "SANDS OF TIME." Sands throughout time have resided in these Southern Colorado Dunes. Winds blow through the ages adjusting the striations but the Dunes remain. They paint the backdrop for Native Americans, settlers, and recent travelers.

Congratulations to Janet Koelling! From among the 438 outstanding entries, Reiki Light and Energy was selected to be in Exploring the Light 2014 annual photo show at at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, CO. This Gicleé Artistic Photo Print will be display for the duration of the photo show from April 19, 2014 through June 8, 2014.

Description: Rays of light permeate the Japanese Maple in Autumn. Colors and streams of energy bring the tree and the viewer to a place of new life, similar to "Reiki" the Japanese healing art.

"Mother Nature Rests" by Janet Koelling, was accepted into the EYE OF THE CAMERA Exhibition at the Littleton Museum. It will be on display throughout the month of February, 2014, and eligible to win the juried competition.  This black and white, photo fine art piece expresses Mother Nature's resting place amidst this wintery scene. Feminine images of beauty reside in the snowy drifts and sparking water, while awaiting the new life of Springtime. Shadows and light play upon the curves and lines, inviting the viewer to breathe deeply and ponder.
